There are many things I could tell you about who I am and what I’ve done, but at the forefront of my life is...worship. There is nothing in this world I love more. I love leading it, participating in it, listening to it and living it out. Music has always been a part of my life…from listening to my dad’s vast jazz and classical record collections to singing in the long-haired, guitar-playing hippie churches of my childhood to my love of black gospel music. All of it has shaped my expression of worship.

I grew up in northern California and began singing at the age of 14. I sang for youth conferences, church concerts, outreach events and on Christian television from the time I was a teen into my early 20’s. I moved to Nashville shortly thereafter to pursue music and soon began doing studio background vocal work. Through the years it has become a career I absolutely love. (See my Sessions tab to learn more.)

I began leading worship in my former church in the mid-2000’s and immediately knew it was something I wanted to do with my life. I had always loved worship so leading people into His presence as a worship leader became a natural progression and my greatest passion. I began traveling the country for 5 years with good friends Michael & Stormie Omartian (author of the “Power of a Praying…” series) leading worship for Stormie’s seminars. I’ve had the great privilege of leading worship for the National Worship Leader’s Conference, Extraordinary Women and Beth Moore as well as in churches and events across the country. Worshiping with God’s people is like a foretaste of Heaven. There is nothing that moves me more! I’m currently one of the worship leaders at my church, Grace Chapel in Leiper’s Fork, TN where I have the joy of worshiping regularly with my church family. I definitely go to the best church on earth!

When I’m not singing, I’m often on my trusty Mac laptop, iPad or iPhone (I’m an Apple fanatic!) or writing worship music (visit my Store to listen). I can usually be found sitting on the wraparound porch of my favorite coffee shop in historic Franklin, TN where I live. I have a beautiful daughter, Karissa, who is an amazing singer-songwriter in her own right. She is the joy of my life! I’m incredibly grateful to the Lord for being alive and healing me from Breast Cancer in 2014 (See my Cancer Journey page) and for His blessings that are too numerous to count!
