BIO
Debi
Selby first began singing at the age of 14. By the
age of 17, she had been singing
all over northern California for youth conferences,
church concerts, outreach events and on television.
She was invited to sing for the National Day of
Prayer in Sacramento, CA with William
Franklin Graham III. She later attended American
River College and studied classical and jazz
music. Debi married Christian music producer/programmer
Andy Selby (CeCe Winans, Nicole
C. Mullen, Mat Kearney) shortly thereafter and moved
from northern California to Nashville.
Debi
released her first album “More Of You” in 2000.
The album features duets with John Katina of
The Katinas and Nissi Walls-Allen, formerly of Anointed.
She is currently writing for her second
project, a praise and worship album. In
2004, bestselling Christian author Stormie Omartian
(Power Of A Praying Wife) and her producer
husband Michael (Christopher Cross, Donna Summer)
asked Debi to be a soloist on a new
praise and worship project entitled “The Prayer
That Changes Everything” (a companion project
to Stormie's book of the same title). Debi sang
leads on “River Of My Life” and “Worthy Is
The Lamb” (duet with Stormie's daughter, Amanda).
“Worthy Is The Lamb” was released as the first
radio single and was played on radio stations across
the country. The song went to #3 on the Christian
Inspirational charts and is in the Top 20 Inspirational
Songs for 2005. Debi currently travels
with Stormie Omartian as one of her worship leaders
for Integrity's The Prayer That Changes
Everything seminars.

is also a backup and session vocalist and has sung
on albums for CeCe Winans, Newsboys, Audio
Adrenaline, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Kristin Chenoweth,
David Phelps, Helen Baylor, Lee Greenwood,
Kim Hill, Vicki Yohe, Dennis Jernigan and Lynda
Randle to name a few. Debi sang background
vocals on “Second Chances” for the Veggie Tales
“Jonah” movie soundtrack and was also
part of the Veggie Tales Christmas album. She has
been involved in singing on several praise &
worship projects for Word Entertainment, Integrity
and Women Of Faith. She has sung on demos
for Bonnie Raitt, Rachael Lampa, Avalon, Babbie
Mason, Anointed, Janet Paschal and many
others. Debi has worked frequently with various
producers including Tommy Sims, Keith Thomas,

In
addition to singing, Debi is also a songwriter.
“That's Where My Heart Is Too,” a song she co-wrote
with
her husband, was produced by Chris Harris on the
album “Songs From The Message-The
Way Of Love” (companion project to The Message Bible).
A song she wrote entitled “The Cross
Before Me” was arranged by David T. Clydesdale as
a choral anthem and was released through
Word Publishing's Choral Club. She also wrote many
